Why hire treeline photography
Fine photography is about far more than simply clicking a shutter button and wedding photography is about more than simply showing up; for this husband and wife team it is all about the love. Because of this we can provide a sample portfolio of more than ten years of experience not just individually, but as a team learning to compliment each other and work in tandem. We not only believe in showing our skill but improving with all the time through on-going education in workshops, editing technique, online courses and more. Our team are skilled in the use of mounted and off-camera flash, natural lighting, and a wide range of camera gear in challenging settings. We also focus on those non-teachable skills of understanding timing for candid images, macro focus for fine detail work, photo editing in film and digital formats, and gentle coaching skills to put nervous subjects at ease for genuine expressions. All weddings receive the attention of two photographers, Jeannine & Christopher, both equipped with a wide selection of lighting and lens options to suit every situation without missing a beat. While Jeannine brings the emotional side from her subjects for those intimate moments, Chris has the knack for candid snaps that capture the life of the party. Together this husband and wife team will amaze you as they tell a complete story of your day. Assurance of Insurance
Many venues have begun to require proof of insurance for vendors hired outside their preferred list or as proof of their own legitimate business acumen; we heartily agree that this protection is vital for couples and photographers because nothing is ever fool proof. We prefer Hiscox Insurance for our gear and client protections and so a portion of the cost of your photography does indeed go to paying our insurance for gear and images to cover every detail. All our teams are happy to provide proof of insurance upon request if ever it is needed in your planning. These policies cover our equipment and your investment in the case of catastrophic events and provide you and us a safety net should something unpredictable occur. why do i need a contract
The short answer here is that we do not book without a contract. Contracts are the best way for everyone to understand what to expect, when to expect it, and what to do if something changes or goes wrong. While nobody wants to believe anything could go wrong with weddings, the fact is that sometimes in the real world things go wrong and just like our insurance, the contract we all sign means you can have a clear picture of each step to find a resolution. Our contracts cover the amount of time, location, number of photographers, an estimated number of photos, estimated delivery dates, and the process for refunds in case an event has to be canceled or plans change. It also helps us coordinate information by ensuring everyone has the right contact information and a handy breakdown of payment amounts and dates so you are never left with a late fee or unprepared for an expense. Our goal is to make your wedding day last forever in photos, but not make an endless headache out of booking your photographer... and we're not big fans of pointless paperwork either, really. what is the process
Our story begins the day a couple reaches out to say they are planning a wedding. However you found us, the process begins now... so here we go:
The TLDR Version; Your photographer has a process, trust the process, you can email with millions of questions and we will not think you are insane, once your wedding happens you get a a preview about a week after the wedding and final images one month later. Do You Travel
We love to travel. While we are based in the White Mountains of New England our weddings have been everywhere along the coast from Florida to Maine, as far west as Chicago, and absolutely adore tropical destination weddings. Our prices for travel depend on distance, time needed, venue type, and the photographers accommodation requirements. In general we prefer to limit the number of destination weddings we will shoot each year but winter events are more likely be given consideration as this time has more flexibility of open dates. As always, we recommend booking with as much advance as possible but even more so for destination events to allow us time for travel planning. Do you have a discount for ...
While we try our best to price fairly and competitively, this is indeed a business as well as a passion for everyone at Treeline Photography and this means we have built packages to offer the most popular things at the best value to you. Events booked for off-peak times are subject to a 10% discount in price and we offer price cuts for certain things. Since we value genuine reviews over paid sound bites we do not discount for those kind words, but always ask that our satisfied clients take the time to share their thoughts with us and others through the power of social media and wedding vendor sites. |
